Description

Meet the 2027 Polaris 650 INDY® XC® 137 7S in ****—a trail sled that looks as fast standing still as it feels the moment you squeeze the thumb throttle. It’s the kind of machine that turns the parking lot into a pre-ride pep rally: sharp lines, tinted LED lighting, and that unmistakable INDY® attitude wrapped around a purpose-built MATRYX aluminum frame.

At the heart of it is the Patriot™ 650: a liquid-cooled, 2-cylinder, horizontal in-line **2-stroke** with reed valves and fuel injection. It runs on regular fuel with gas/oil injection, lights off with electric start, and routes its power through a continuously variable (CVT) transmission with belt drive. Tap into reverse when the trail gets tight, then point it forward again and let the single exhaust sing—crisp, responsive, and eager to play.

This INDY® XC® is built for riders who measure winter in miles, corners, and perfectly timed throttle picks. With a 137-inch Cobra Track and 1.35-inch lugs, it’s ready to hook up when the trail turns loose or the snow stacks up in the shady sections. The 15-inch track width keeps it planted, and the Pro-Steer™ composite skis with carbide skags help keep your line honest when the pace rises and the trail starts throwing curves like it means it.

Suspension is where this sled really earns its “XC” attitude. Up front, an independent A-arm setup delivers 9.5 inches of travel, backed by Fox® QS3 adjustable gas shocks with remote reservoirs. Out back, the PRO-CC rear suspension brings 16.2 inches of travel with two rear shocks plus a Fox® QS3 center shock—also adjustable, also remote-reservoir equipped. Translation: you can tune it for your day, your trail, and your mood, then keep riding when conditions go from groomed to chopped-up without losing your rhythm.

Rider comfort and control get equal attention. You’re standing (and sitting) in a driver-focused layout with skid-resistant floorboards, rubber hand grips, and hand guards ready for cold-mile duties. The mid-height, tinted windshield takes the edge off the wind, and the heated grips (adjustable, right where you need them) help keep your hands as sharp as your line choices. A one-piece vinyl seat keeps the cockpit clean and connected—made for a single rider who’d rather lead the group than follow it.

And when it’s time to manage the day, RIDE COMMAND™ GPS is along for the ride to help keep you oriented when the trail system gets ambitious. Clear warnings and info are right there too, including a fuel gauge and a temperature light—simple, useful, and easy to read when you’re geared up and moving.

At about 497 lbs dry with an 11.5-gallon fuel capacity, this is a trail machine that’s ready to go long, go fast, and stay composed doing it. The Matryx Stealth hydraulic disc brake brings confident stopping power, while practical touches like a belt guard and snow guard keep the experience tidy when conditions get real.

If you want a trail sled that feels precise, adjustable, and unapologetically fun—and you want it in ****—the 2027 Polaris 650 INDY® XC® 137 7S is ready to make every ride feel like the best section of the loop.
